Spell Adventure Club connects us to this spirit of the wild, no matter where we find ourselves day to day. Designed to draw out our most embodied, intrepid selves, these are pieces created to spark joy and encourage fearless adventures. Moving with ease between land and water ~ from city-scapes to sea-scapes to mountain-scapes ~ this considered capsule reveals a collection of transeasonal, layer-able, live-in-able pieces.
Inspired by that expansive feeling we all get in nature, the deep breath, the slow exhale, the quiet knowing ~ Spell Adventure Club is a love letter to the wilderness and the wild at heart. It’s a collection made in reverence to Mother Nature, and to all who carry a piece of her magic within them. These are forever pieces, made for the memories you haven’t yet made.

15 years ago, in the first days of Spell, Spelly and I would spend hours trawling our fave blogs, soaking up the editorials.This was before Instagram or Pinterest, so you had to comb the internet for all these juicy shoots - and the pinnacle of style was always Free People.
When Spelly and I first started designing the ultimate dream was for Free People to notice us and stock us, this might sound silly now but for two fledgling fashion girlies in Byron Bay it was a big dream! It turned out Free People were the first global retailer to stock Spell and we’ve adored seeing Spell styled through their lens ever since.
And now. A collaboration. We’ve been dying to share this one with you…. SPELL x FREE PEOPLE a collab of our dreams is coming next week. A milestone we’ve been working towards for a couple of years, a co-designed capsule as a celebration of our two unique worlds, and the wonderful beauty created when these worlds collide.

Our first collection of 2025, silhouettes with fluttering sleeves, floor skimming hemlines designed to float as you move, vintage inspired, hand-drawn florals with striking borders. Our latest instalment of #spellluxelace, a gauzy juxtaposition of demure Edwardian styling meets flirty silhouettes… and finally, we bring Arizona, our checked tailoring {and THAT BLAZER!}.

The love affair I have with Vanessa, a Spell muse time and time again ~ extends beyond the times we have worked with her at Spell, in fact it goes way back to when I lived in Bondi, and truth be told, the story is a little creeps! My best friend had an apartment next door to Vanessa’s then boyfriend {now husband and father to her three children,Oddy}.
My friend and I {Nina, you know who you are} would often peer through their window, from our 2nd story apartment lookout. It sounds much more creepy than it actually was, but we both couldn’t help dreamily look at Vanessa, living her best Bondi life because she was just so beautiful!! When I see her life in Ibiza I often think how incredibly effortless, gorgeous and wonderful she was even back then in a beachside flat in Bondi. It’s been delightful reconnecting with her from afar through the Spell lens, and seeing her transition to motherhood at similar times to me and her decision to take to the hills of Ibiza for this wonderful life. I think this leads so much into what the story of Fable is ~ an embrace of the slow pace of life, of creating. A feeling of breeziness and free. Choosing calm. Vanessa embodies all of this.
Our artisan made ‘Fable’ print captures a unique story in every block-printed flower. A capsule created in partnership withProject Thrive foundation, this signature print was carefully carved into wooden blocks and hand printed onto the fabric one repeat at a time, and feels like a special celebration of our love for hand crafting. With Project Thrive Foundation, our Fable capsule was able to provide 474 artisan work days across 18 skilled block print artisans and supported economic opportunity to women with limited access to education and employment resources.

A spectacular odyssey of underwater magic and ocean infused nostalgia ~ we bring you SEASHELL, our most sustainable collection yet fronted by Australian actress and activist, Isabel Lucas.
We have wanted to work with Isabel since the beginning of starting Spell! Having her wear our pieces over the years and becoming friends has been such an honour as we believe Isabel was one of the first women of influence in Australia to really champion environmental causes, all with grace and a gentle yet powerful voice.
In the fashion industry, the most impactful change we can make is with the fabrics we create from. Seashell utilises 76% preferred fibres in this collection.
The collection was a wild dream of Spelly’s for a long time, and when she talked to her design team about putting a mermaid into the print, a few of them thought she was nuts! The signature print, Seashell features hand-drawn shell and mermaid motifs ~ an ode to one of Spelly’s favourite 80’s films, Splash.
