Our Design and Buying gals, Teagan and Sarah, headed to the States on an inspiration trip. They visited local boutiques {mostly vintage, of course} and immersed themselves in the culture of each city. Here's a glimpse into their travel diary and what they got up to...
Los Angeles, California
Our trip began in LA where we checked into the gorgeous Palihotel Hollywood ~ perfectly located to pop over to our by-appointment-only vintage bookings we had locked-in for the following day.
Day two was spent wandering the beautiful streets of Silver Lake and Los Feliz, not without our Maru Coffee in hand, of course.
We wrapped things up with a gorgeous dinner at the Sunset Tower, after a successful {and slightly exhausting} day of shopping ~ scooping up all the vintage gems we could carry.
Austin, Texas
Austin was a dream. The people, the vintage, the food ~ the spirit of the city. We sourced stunning one-of-a-kind laces, embroideries, and prints.
We spent three inspiring days here; the vintage in Austin was truly incredible ~ pieces from decades long past, all in the most pristine condition. The city really is a heartbeat of vintage, art, and music. We checked out of The Line with our eyes set on a jam-packed few days in New York ahead.
New York City, New York
NYC remains one of our favourite places ~ the magic of the city is never lost on us. We had a busy few days split between Manhattan, Brooklyn, and wholesale meetings. The city overflowed with inspiration ~ people living life entirely their own way. We ended our stay with dinner at Le Dive, sitting streetside, soaking in the city’s energy and endless creativity.
Three cities, full suitcases, and endless inspiration ~ we came home full.
